National reveals billboards for election campaign

RADIO NEW ZEALAND: The National Party has revealed its first election billboard in Auckland, focusing on the brain drain.

The billboard on The Strand in central Auckland says "Wave goodbye to higher taxes, not your loved ones".

The same billboard with the tag line, "Choose a brighter future" is also going up in Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and Tauranga.

National Party leader John Key says it covers one of about half a dozen issues the party will be focusing on in the lead-up to the election.
